Hand-Wrist X-ray: Assesses jaw development in children by determining bone age.
Dental Volumetric Tomography (CBCT): Provides three-dimensional imaging; jawbone density and width are determined with millimetric accuracy before implant placement. It operates at a much lower radiation dose than classic medical CT.
